1,535 பதவிக்கு 4,094 பேர் போட்டி மாவட்டத்தில் இன்று 5 ஒன்றியத்தில் முதல் கட்ட தேர்தல்

தர்மபுரி, டிச.27: தர்மபுரி மாவட்டத்தில் இன்று நடக்கும் முதல்கட்ட தேர்தலுக்கு 1535 பதவிகளுக்கு 4,094 பேர் போட்டியிடுகின்றனர். 7,631 அரசு பணியாளர்கள் தேர்தல் பணியில் ஈடுபடுகின்றனர். இதையொட்டி, பலத்த போலீஸ் பாதுகாப்பு ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது.

தர்மபுரி மாவட்டத்தில், 10 ஊராட்சி ஒன்றியங்களில் உள்ள ஊராட்சி மன்ற உறுப்பினர்கள், ஊராட்சித் தலைவர்கள், ஒன்றியக்குழு மற்றும் மாவட்டக்குழு உறுப்பினர்கள் என மொத்தம் 2,800 பதவியிடங்களுக்கு உள்ளாட்சித் தேர்தல் நடக்கிறது.

இதில், தர்மபுரி, நல்லம்பள்ளி, அரூர், கடத்தூர், பாப்பிரெட்டிப்பட்டி ஆகிய 5 ஊராட்சி ஒன்றியங்களுக்கு, முதல் கட்டமாக இன்று (27ம் தேதி) வாக்குப்பதிவு நடக்கிறது. இதேபோல், பாலக்கோடு, காரிமங்கலம், மொரப்பூர், பென்னாகரம் மற்றும் ஏரியூர் ஆகிய 5 ஒன்றியங்களில், வரும் 30ம் தேதி இரண்டாம் கட்டமாகத் தேர்தல் நடக்கிறது.

முதல் கட்டமாக தேர்தல் நடைபெற உள்ள 5 ஊராட்சி ஒன்றியங்களில், 1535 பதவிகளுக்கு மொத்தம் 4,094 வேட்பாளர்கள் போட்டியிடுகின்றனர். தர்மபுரி, நல்லம்பள்ளி, கடத்தூர், பாப்பிரெட்டிப்பட்டி, அரூர் ஆகிய ஒன்றியங்களில் 1284 கிராம ஊராட்சி வார்டு உறுப்பினர் பதவிக்கும், 138 கிராம ஊராட்சி தலைவர்கள் பதவிக்கும், ஊராட்சி ஒன்றிய வார்டு உறுப்பினர்கள் 103 பதவிக்கும், மாவட்ட ஊராட்சி வார்டு குழு உறுப்பினர் 10 பதவிக்கான தேர்தல் இன்று நடக்கிறது.

வாக்கு பதிவுக்கான முன்னேற்பாடு பணிகள் அனைத்தும், மாவட்ட தேர்தல் அலுவலகம் மூலம் அனைத்து ஒன்றியங்களிலும் செய்து முடிக்கப்பட்டு, நேற்று காலை 5 ஒன்றியங்களில் உள்ள வாக்குச்சாவடிகளுக்கும் வாக்குப்பதிவு தேவையான 72 வகையான பொருட்களை எடுத்துக் கொண்டு சென்றனர். அவர்களுடன் போலீசார் பாதுகாப்புக்கு செல்ல ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டது.

ஒவ்வொரு ஊராட்சி ஒன்றியங்களில் இருந்தும், அதன் எல்லைக்கு உட்பட்ட வாக்குச்சாவடிகளுக்கு தேர்தல் பணியில் ஈடுபடும் ஆசிரியர்கள், அலுவலர்கள் அனுப்பி வைக்கப்பட்டனர். இன்று (27ம் தேதி) காலை 7 மணிக்கு வாக்குப்பதிவு தொடங்கி மாலை 5 மணி வரை நடக்கிறது.

ஒவ்வொரு நபரும், வாக்காளர் அடையாள அட்டை, அரசால் அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்ட ஆதார் அட்டை, வங்கி கணக்கு புத்தகம், பான் கார்டு, ரேஷன் கார்டு உள்ளிட்ட 11 ஆவணங்களில் ஏதாவது ஒன்றை எடுத்து வரவேண்டும்.

வாக்குச்சாவடிகளில் போலீசார், ஊர்காவல் படையினர், முன்னாள் ராணுவத்தினர், தீயணைப்புத்துறையினர் பாதுகாப்பில் ஈடுபடுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளனர். மாலை 5 மணிக்கு வாக்குப்பதிவு முடிந்ததும், அந்த ஒன்றியத்தில் ஏற்படுத்தப்பட்ட உள்ள வாக்கு எண்ணும் மையத்திற்கு, வாக்குச்சீட்டு பெட்டிகள் பலத்த பாதுகாப்புடன் எடுத்துச் செல்ல ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. இரண்டாம் கட்ட தேர்தல் 30ம் தேதி முடிந்த பின்னர் ஒட்டுமொத்தமாக வரும் 2ம் தேதி வாக்கு எண்ணிக்கை நடக்கிறது.

4,094 candidates in 1,535 seats in the first phase of the Union elections today

Dec 27: Dharmapuri district has 4,094 candidates contesting the first phase. 7,631 government employees are engaged in election work. This, in turn, has strengthened police security. In the Dharmapuri district, there are a total of 2,800 posts of local government elections for the panchayat members, panchayat leaders, union committee and district council members in 10 panchayat unions.

Voting for the five panchayat unions - Dharmapuri, Nallampalli, Aroor, Kadathur and Pappretippatti - will be held on the 27th. Similarly, the second phase of polling will be held on the 30th of the five Unions in Palakkad, Karimangalam, Morapur, Pennagaram and Aeriyur. A total of 4,094 candidates are running for the 1535 posts in the five panchayat unions where the first phase of the election will take place.

Elections for Dharmapuri, Nallampalli, Kadathur, Papreetettipatti, Aroor, 1284 Grama Panchayath Wards, 138 Grama Panchayath Wards, 103 Panchayath Union Ward Members and 10 District Panchayath Ward Committee members are being held today. All preparations for the polling were completed by the District Elections Office in all the Union offices and yesterday morning, the voters in the 5 Unions took 72 items to the polling station.

Arrangements were made to go with them to the security of the police. In each of the panchayat unions, teachers and officials engaged in election work were sent to the polling boards within its boundaries. Voting begins today (27th) at 7am and goes on till 5pm.

Each person should bring one of the 11 documents including voter ID card, government approved Aadhaar card, bank account book, PAN card and ration card. At the polls, police, guards, ex-servicemen and firefighters have been deployed.

When the polling is over at 5 pm, the ballot boxes are arranged to be carried to the voting center in the Union. The second round of voting will take place on the 30th after the second phase.
