தகவல் திருடும் ஆப்ஸ் உஷாரா இருங்க பாஸ்! 

புதுடெல்லி: மொபைலில் நிறுவும் ஆப்ஸ்களில் 95 சதவீத ஆப்ஸ்கள் தகவல்களை திருடி, அவற்றை வேறு நபர்களுக்கு அளிக்கின்றன என்ற அதிர்ச்சி தகவல் வெளியாகியுள்ளது. ஸ்மார்ட்போன் வைத்திருப்பவர்கள் எல்லாருமே, தங்களுக்கு தேவையோ இல்லையோ, எதற்கும் இருக்கட்டும் என ஆப்ஸ்களை கண்டபடி பதிவிறக்கம் செய்து நிறுவி வைத்திருப்பார்கள். ஆனால், அவர்களுக்கு தெரியாமலேயே, அதன் மூலம் சில விவரங்கள் களவாடப்படுகின்றன. இந்திய மொபைல் ஆப்ஸ் மற்றும் இணைய தளங்கள் ரகசியம் காப்பது குறித்து ஆய்வு ஒன்று சமீபத்தில் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

இதில் தெரிய வந்தவை வருமாறு: 

 * எந்த ஒரு ஆப்சை மொபைலில் நிறுவினாலும், போன் நம்பர்கள், மெசேஜ், கேமரா போன்ற சில அனுமதிகளை கேட்கும். மொபைல் வைத்திருப்பவர்கள், எந்த கவலையும் இல்லாமல் எல்லா கேள்விக்கும் 'ஓகே' கொடுத்து நிறுவி விடுவார்கள்.

 * இவ்வாறு நாம் அளிக்கும் அனுமதியால், 86 சதவீத ஆப்ஸ்கள் நமது போன் மெமரியில் உள்ளவற்றை படிக்க முடியும். 

*நீங்கள் தற்போது எந்த இடத்தில் இருக்கிறீர்கள் என 75 சதவீத ஆப்ஸ்கள் துல்லியமாக அறிந்து கொள்கின்றன. 

* போன் நம்பர் பார்க்க அனுமதி கேட்கும் 66 சதவீத ஆப்ஸ்கள், நம் போனில் உள்ள கான்டாக்ட் விவரங்கள் உட்பட பல தகவல்களை சேகரித்து விடுகின்றன. 

* இவ்வாறு திருடப்படும் தகவல்களில், 96 சதவீத விவரங்கள் வெளிநாட்டு சர்வர்களுக்கு சென்று விடுகின்றன. அங்கிருந்து மூன்றாம் நபர் அல்லது வேறு நிறுவனங்களுக்கு பகிர்ந்து கொள்ளப்படுகின்றன. 

* இதுபோல் பெரும்பாலான வெப்சைட்களும் நம்மை பற்றிய தகவல்களை திருடி, வேறு நபர்களுக்கு பகிர்கின்றன என தெரிய வந்துள்ளது.

Information stealing apps 

New Delhi: Nearly 95 per cent of the apps that are installed on mobile devices are stealing information and giving them to other people, according to shocking data. All smartphone holders have downloaded and installed the apps as they want, whatever they want. But, unbeknownst to them, some details are stolen by it. Recently, a study has been conducted on the privacy of Indian mobile apps and web sites. 

What's known: 

* When you install an app on mobile, it asks for some permissions such as phone numbers, message and camera. Mobile holders will install all queries 'OK' without any worries. 

* By giving us permission to do so, 86 percent of apps can read things in our phone memory. 

* 75% of apps know exactly where you are currently. 

* 66% of apps that ask for phone number access collect a lot of information, including contact details on our phone. 

* 96% of the information stolen goes to foreign servers. From there they are shared to a third party or other company. 

* Most of the websites have been reported to steal information about us and share it with other people.
