ஜன.20- 5-ம் மற்றும் 8-ம் வகுப்பு பொதுத்தேர்வுக்கு அந்தந்த பள்ளிகளே தேர்வு மையங்களாக செயல்படும், தேர்வு மையங்களை மாற்றும் திட்டம் இல்லை என்று அமைச்சர் கே.ஏ.செங்கோட்டையன் கூறினார். தமிழக பள்ளிக்கல்வி துறை அமைச்சர் கே.ஏ.செங்கோட்டையன் கோபியில் நிருபர்களுக்கு பேட்டி அளித்தார். அப்போது அவர் கூறியதாவது:- ரூ.270 கோடி தமிழக சுகாதாரத்துறை இந்தியாவிலேயே முதல் இடத்தை பெற்று உள்ளது.

முதல்- அமைச்சர் எடப்பாடி பழனிசாமியின் முயற்சியால், தமிழகத்தில் அதிகமான மருத்துவ கல்லூரிகள் தொடங்கப்பட்டு உள்ளன. முதல்- அமைச்சரின் உத்தரவுப்படி ஈரோடு முதல் சத்தியமங்கலம் வரை ரூ.270 கோடி மதிப்பீட்டில் 4 வழிசாலை அமைக்கப்பட உள்ளது. கோபி நகராட்சியில் ரூ.52 கோடியே 50 லட்சம் செலவில் நடைபெற்று வரும் குடிநீர் திட்டப்பணிகள் விரைவில் நிறைவடைய உள்ளது.
