கணக்குடன் இணைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும் மொபைல் நம்பர்களுக்கு அனுப்பப்படுவதால் தேவையில்லாத பிரச்சனைகளில் இருந்து தப்பித்துக் கொள்ள வசதியாக இருந்தது. மேலும் அந்த ஒ.டி.பி இருந்தால் மட்டுமே ஒரு பணப்பரிவர்த்தனையை முடிக்க இயலும். 

சில பணப்பரிவர்த்தனைகளில் ஓ.டி.பியுடன் சேர்த்து 3டி செக்யூர் பின்கோடுகளையும் இணைக்க வேண்டிய கட்டாயம் ஏற்பட்டது. ஆனால் சமீபத்தில் ஆதாருடன் கூடிய வீடியோ கஸ்டமர் ஐடெண்டிஃபிகேசன் ப்ரோசசை அறிமுகம் செய்து வைத்துள்ளது. 

( Video Customer Identification Process (V-CIP)). இதன் மூலம் வங்கிகள் வாடிக்கையாளர்கள் குறித்த அனைத்து சந்தேகங்களையும் வீடியோ ஐடெண்டிஃபிகேசன் மூலம் நிறைவேற்றிக் கொள்வார்கள். இந்த திட்டத்தை அறிமுகம் செய்வதற்காக மத்திய அரசு 'பண மோசடி தடுப்பு சட்ட விதிமுறைகள் 2005'ல் சில திருத்தங்களை கொண்டு வந்தது.
