தமிழக அரசு கொண்டு வந்துள்ள 12-ம் வகுப்பு பாடத்திட்டத்தை முழுமையாக படித்தாலே நீட் தேர்வில் 80 சதவீதம் மாணவர்கள் தேர்ச்சி அடையலாம் என அமைச்சர் செங்கோட்டையன் தெரிவித்துள்ளார். 

இன்று நடைபெற்ற 2-வது நாளான தமிழக சட்டப்பேரவையில் பல்வேறு விவாதங்கள் மற்றும் தமிழக பட்ஜெட்டை குறித்து ஆளும் கட்சியும், எதிர் கட்சியும் கேள்விகள் எழுப்பி காரசாரமாக விவாதித்தனர். 

அப்போது அமைச்சர் செங்கோட்டையன் இந்தியாவிலேயே தமிழகத்தில் தான் நீட் தேர்விற்காக அரசு சார்பில் பயிற்சி மையங்கள் அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதாக குறிப்பிட்டார். 

மேலும் தொடர்ந்து பேசிய அமைச்சர்,தமிழகத்தில் நீட் தேர்வை எளிதாக எதிர்கொள்ளும் வகையில் தான் 12-ம் வகுப்பு பாடத்திட்டங்கள் மாற்றி அமைக்கப்பட்டதாக சுட்டிக்காட்டினார். 

பின்னர் 12-ம் வகுப்பு பாடத்திட்டத்தை முழுமையாக படித்தாலே நீட் தேர்வில் 80 சதவீதம் மாணவர்கள் தேர்ச்சி அடையலாம் என பள்ளிக்கல்வித்துறை அமைச்சர் செங்கோட்டையன் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

About 80% of the students need to get through the 12th class syllabus of the Tamil Nadu government, said Minister Senkotayan. At the 2nd day of the Tamil Nadu legislative session, the ruling party and opposition parties raised questions about various issues and the budget of Tamil Nadu. Minister Senkotayan said that the Government of India has set up training centers for NEET exams in Tamil Nadu.

Speaking further, the minister pointed out that the 12th syllabus has been modified to make it easier for Tamil Nadu to meet the NEET exam. 80 per cent of students needing to pass the 12th grade syllabus, said the Minister of School Education, Senkotayan.
