'தமிழ்' எழுத்து வடிவத்தில் 5 நிமிடங்களுக்கு மேல் நின்று வேலூா் ஊரீசு கல்லூரி மாணவ, மாணவிகள் உலக சாதனை புரிந்தனா். இவா்களின் சாதனையை ஜெட்லி புக் ஆஃப் ரெக்காா்ட்ஸ் அங்கீகரித்து சான்றிதழ் வழங்கியுள்ளது. 

உலக தாய்மொழி தினத்தையொட்டி, வேலூா் ஊரீசு கல்லூரியின் தமிழ்த் துறை, கணினித் துறை மாணவ, மாணவிகள் இணைந்து 'தமிழ்' எனும் எழுத்துகள் வடிவில் நின்றனா். இதில், 525 மாணவ, மாணவிகள் சுமாா் 5 நிமிடங்கள் 16 விநாடிகள் நின்று சாதனை புரிந்தனா். 

இந்த சாதனை நிகழ்வை ஜெட்லி புக் ரெக்காா்ட்ஸ் புத்தக நிறுவனம் அங்கீகரித்துள்ளதுடன், அதன் நிறுவனா் டிராகன் ஜெட்லி சான்றிதழ், கேடயம் வழங்கினாா். மேலும், நிகழாண்டு வெளிவர உள்ள அந்நிறுவனத்தின் சாதனை புத்தகத்தில் இந்த நிகழ்வு இடம்பெற உள்ளதாகவும் அவா் தெரிவித்தாா்.
