அரசுப் பள்ளிகளில் மாணவர்கள் சேர்க்கை அருகி வரும் நிலையில் தாங்கள் பயின்ற பள்ளியின் மாணவர் சேர்க்கையை அதிகரிக்க உதவும் எண்ணத்துடன் ராஜசிங்க மங்கலம் பள்ளி மாணவர்களைத் தங்கள் சொந்த செலவில் சுற்றுலா அழைத்துச் சென்று அசத்தி இருக்கின்றனர் முன்னாள் மாணவர்கள். சுற்றுலாவில் அரசுப் பள்ளி மாணவர்கள் ராமநாதபுரம் மாவட்டம் ராஜசிங்க மங்கலத்தில் உள்ளது அரசு மேல்நிலைப் பள்ளி. 

சுற்றுவட்டார கிராமங்களைச் சேர்ந்த மாணவர்களின் ஒரே புகழிடமாக இப்பள்ளி இருந்து வந்த காலத்தில் நூற்றுக்கணக்கான மாணவர்கள் இங்கு பயின்று வந்தனர். தனியார் பள்ளிகளின் மோகம், அருகருகே உருவான தனியார் மற்றும் அரசுப் பள்ளிகளின் வருகையால் ஏற்பட்ட தாக்கம் போன்றவற்றால் இப்பள்ளியில் சேரும் மாணவர்களின் எண்ணிக்கை ஒரு சில நூறுகளைக்கூட தொட முடியாமல் திணறி வந்தது. இந்நிலை நீடித்தால் இந்த அரசுப் பள்ளி போதிய மாணவர்கள் இல்லாமல் மூடப்படும் நிலைக்குத் தள்ளப்படும் சூழல் உருவானது. 

இதை அறிந்த இப்பள்ளியில் பயின்ற முன்னாள் மாணவர்கள் பலர் ஒன்றிணைந்து அரசுப் பள்ளியின் மாணவர் சேர்க்கையை ஊக்கப்படுத்தும் வகையில் பல்வேறு முயற்சிகளை மேற்கொண்டனர். தனியார் பள்ளிகளுக்கு நிகராகக் கல்வி உபகரணங்களை இலவசமாக வழங்குவது, விளையாட்டுப் போட்டி, ஆண்டு விழா நடத்துவது, வகுப்பறை கட்டடங்களை வண்ணமயமாக்குவது எனப் பல முயற்சிகளை மேற்கொண்டனர். 

இதன் காரணமாக கடந்த இரு ஆண்டுகளாக இப்பள்ளியில் மாணவர் சேர்க்கை அதிகரித்து வருகிறது. திற்பரப்பு அருவியில் அரசுப் பள்ளி மாணவர்கள் இதைத் தக்கவைக்கும் வகையிலும், வரும் கல்வி ஆண்டில் மேலும் அதிகளவில் மாணவர்களைச் சேர்க்கும் வகையிலும் மேலும் ஒரு முயற்சியை இப்பள்ளியின் முன்னாள் மாணவர்கள் மேற்கொண்டனர். இதன்படி தற்போது இப்பள்ளியில் பயின்று வரும் மாணவர்களை, முன்னாள் மாணவர்கள் தங்கள் சொந்த செலவில் ஒரு நாள் பயணமாகக் கன்னியாகுமரிக்கு சுற்றுலா அழைத்துச் சென்றனர். 

மாணவர்களுடன் முன்னாள் மாணவர்கள் காய்ந்துபோன வயலையும் வறண்டுபோன ஆற்றுப் பகுதியையும் மட்டுமே கண்ட மாணவர்களைக் கன்னியாகுமரி கடல், திற்பரப்பு நீர்வீழ்ச்சி, மாத்தூர் தொட்டிப்பாலம், பழைமை வாய்ந்த பத்மநாபபுரம் அரண்மணை எனப் பல்வேறு பகுதிகளுக்கு அழைத்துச் சென்று மகிழ்ச்சியையும் உற்சாகத்தையும் ஏற்படுத்தினர். முன்னாள் மாணவர்கள் அமைப்பைச் சேர்ந்த சசிக்குமார், பகுர்தீன், அப்பாஸ், ஜெயக்குமார், கேசர்கான், நூருல் அமீன், பாதுஷா, மதிவாணன், ஹனீபா உள்ளிட்டோர் இந்தப் பயணத்துக்கான முழு செலவையும் ஏற்றுக்கொண்டதுடன் வரும் காலங்களில் அரசு பொதுத் தேர்வுகளில் சிறப்பிடம் பெரும் மாணவர்களுக்கு ரொக்கப் பரிசுகளும் வழங்க முடிவு செய்துள்ளனர்.

Hundreds of students attended the school when the school was the sole glory of the students from the surrounding villages. The influx of private schools and the impact of the influx of private and public schools on the outskirts has forced the number of students attending the school to not even touch a few hundred. 

If this is the case, the government school will be closed without enough students. Knowing this, many former alumni of the school have come together and made various efforts to encourage the student enrollment of the state school. There have been many attempts to provide free educational equipments to private schools, play games, annual festivals and to color classroom buildings. Due to this, student enrollment in the school has been increasing for the past two years. 

The alumni of the school have made a further attempt to keep the state school students in the open waterway and to add more and more students in the coming academic year. Accordingly, the students and alumni who are currently attending the school took a day trip to Kanyakumari at their own cost. 

Along with the students, alumni took the students who had seen only a dry field and a dry riverbed to various parts of the Kanyakumari Sea, the open waterfall, the Mathur tank, and the ancient Padmanabhapuram Palace. Sasikumar, Bhagardeen, Abbas, Jayakumar, Kesargan, Nurul Amin, Badusha, Mathivanan, Haneefa, alumni of the alumni organization have accepted the full cost of the trip and the government has decided to give cash prizes to students who have excelled in public exams.
