Council of Architecture has clarified that 10+3 Diploma holders with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate are also eligible for admission to the B.Arch Course.
The Council of Architecture has called the attention of Students, Parents, Architectural Institutions, Admission Authorities & General Public to the revised eligibility criteria for admission to Architecture course (Bachelor of Architecture).
Accordingly, 'No candidate shall be admitted to Architecture course unless she/ he has passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and also at least 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate'.
The above eligibility shall be effective from the academic session 2019-20.
The Council has also informed that it is holding the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) 2019 Examination for admission to Architecture Course for the academic session 2019-20, twice. The last date for registration for the first NATA is 11.03.2019 and for the Second Test is 12.06.2019. Application for NATA is to be submitted at www.nata.in .
