பள்ளி வளாகங்களில் இருந்து கடந்த 8 ஆண்டுகளில் எத்தனை லேப்டாப்கள் திருடப்பட்டது என்பது குறித்து விவரங்களை அளிக்க தமிழக அரசின் சிறப்பு திட்டங்கள் துறை, பள்ளிக்கல்வித்துறையை கேட்டுக்கொண்டுள்ளது. தமிழகத்தில் 11 மற்றும் 12-ம் வகுப்புகளில் படிக்கக்கூடிய அரசு மற்றும் அரசு உதவிபெறும் பள்ளிகளில் உள்ள மாணவர்களுக்கு அரசின் இலவச மடிக்கணினிகள் வழங்கப்பட்டு வருகின்றன. கொள்முதல் செய்யப்படும் லேப்டாப்கள் மாவட்ட நிர்வாகம் மூலம் அந்தந்த பள்ளிகளுக்கு அனுப்பப்படுவது வழக்கம். அவ்வாறு அனுப்பப்படும் லேப்டாப்கள், குறிப்பிட்ட மாவட்டத்தில் நடைபெறும் அரசு நிகழ்ச்சிகளின் போது அந்த மாவட்டத்தை சேர்ந்த அமைச்சர்கள் லேப்டாப்களை மாணவர்களுக்கு வழங்குவார்கள்.

 பல்வேறு காரணங்களால் மாணவர்களுக்கு லேப்டாப் வழங்குவதற்காக நடத்தப்படும் நிகழ்ச்சிகள் மாவட்டங்களில் உரிய நேரத்தில் நடைபெறவில்லை. இதன் காரணமாக பள்ளிகளுக்கு அனுப்பி வைக்கப்பட்ட லேப்டாப்கள் மாணவர்களுக்கு வழங்கப்படாமல் அப்படியே கிடப்பில் வைக்கப்பட்டது. இதனை பயன்படுத்திக் கொண்ட சமூக விரோதிகள் மாணவர்களுக்கு வழங்குவதற்காக வைக்கப்பட்ட லேப்டாப்களை திருடப்பட்டு வருவதாக குற்றச்சாட்டு எழுந்தது. லேப்டாப்கள் திருட்டு தொடர்கதையாகி வந்த நிலையில் தற்போது தமிழக அரசின் சிறப்பு திட்டங்கள் மற்றும் வழங்கல் துறை பள்ளிக் கல்வித் துறைக்கு கடிதம் ஒன்றை அனுப்பியுள்ளது.

அதன்படி கடந்த 2011-12 கல்வியாண்டு முதல் நடப்பு கல்வியாண்டு வரை பள்ளிகளில் வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ள லேப்டாப்கள் எவ்வளவு திருடப்பட்டன? என்பது குறித்து விவரங்களை அளிக்க உத்தரவிட்டுள்ளது. இதுகுறித்து பள்ளிக்கல்வித் துறை வட்டாரங்களில் விசாரித்தபோது ஆண்டுதோறும் 5,30,000 முதல் 5,50,000 மாணவர்களுக்கு லேப்டாப்கள் வழங்கப்பட்டு வருவதாகவும் கடந்த 8 ஆண்டுகளில் இதுவரை சுமார் 5000 மேற்பட்ட லேப்டாப்கள் பள்ளிகளிலிருந்து திருடப்பட்டுள்ளதாகவும் பள்ளி கல்வித்துறை வட்டாரங்கள் தெரிவிக்கின்றன. 

 ஏற்கனவே ஆசிரியர்கள் தரப்பில் அமைச்சர்களின் தேதிக்காக கல்வி பயிலும் மாணவர்களுக்கு வழங்கப்படும் லேப்டாப்கள் உரிய நேரத்தில் வழங்கப்படாமல் மாணவர்கள் காத்திருக்கும் சூழல் ஏற்ப்படுவதாக குற்றச்சாட்டினை முன்வைத்திருந்தனர். இந்நிலையில் தான் தற்போது அரசு சார்பில் திருடப்பட்ட லேப்டாப்கள் எத்தனை என்பது குறித்த அறிக்கை அளிக்க பள்ளிக்கல்வித்துறைக்கு தமிழக அரசின் சிறப்பு திட்டங்கள் மற்றும் வழங்கல் துறை உத்தரவிட்டுள்ளது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

How many laptops are stolen on school campuses? Directed by the School Education Department to detail

 The Department of Special Programs of the Government of Tamil Nadu has asked the School Education Department to provide details on how many laptops have been stolen in the last 8 years from school premises. The government is providing free laptops to students in government and government aided schools in grades 11 and 12 in Tamil Nadu. It is customary for the laptops to be purchased and sent to the respective schools by the district administration. The laptops will be provided to the students by the ministers of the district during the government programs in the particular district. 

Due to various reasons, the provision of laptops to the students does not take place in the districts. As a result, the laptops sent to schools were kept intact without being given to students. Anti-social opponents have been accused of stealing laptops for students. As theft of laptops continues, the Government of Tamil Nadu's Special Projects and Delivery Department has now sent a letter to the school education department. Has been ordered to provide details. 

According to school education circles, about 530,000 to 550,000 students annually receive laptops and more than 5,000 laptops have been stolen from schools over the past eight years. Teachers have already filed a complaint alleging that the provision of laptops to students studying for the date of the ministries is not being provided in a timely manner. It is in this context that the Government of Tamil Nadu's Special Projects and Delivery Department has ordered the school department to report on the number of laptops currently stolen by the government.
