ஏடிஎம்-ல் பணம் எடுக்க ஓடிபி கட்டாயம்! - ஜனவரி முதல் அமல்!

ஏ.டி.எம்மில் பணம் எடுக்க ஓடிபி என்ற மொபைல் பாஸ்வேர்டை கட்டாயமாக்கும் செயல்முறையை ஜனவரி முதல் அமல்படுத்த இருக்கிறது எஸ்.பி.ஐ வங்கி. ஏ.டி.எம் எந்திரங்களில் வாடிக்கையாளர்களுக்கு தெரியாமலே அவர்களது பணத்தை திருடும் வாய்ப்புகள் திருடர்களுக்கு கிடைத்து விடுகின்றன. 

சமீபத்தில் ஸ்கிம்மர் கருவி மூலம் ஏடிஎம் பணத்திருட்டு நிறைய நடைபெற்றது. இதனால் ஏடிஎம்மில் பணம் எடுக்க அதிகப்பட்சமான பண வரம்பான் 40 ஆயிரத்தை எஸ்பிஐ வங்கி 20 ஆயிரமாக குறைத்தது. இந்நிலையில் தற்போது 10 ஆயிரத்திற்கும் மேல் பணம் எடுக்க மொபைல் ஓடிபி திட்டத்தை அறிமுகப்படுத்தியுள்ளது. 

10 ஆயிரத்திற்கும் குறைவான தொகையை வழக்கம் போல கார்டை உபயோகித்து எடுத்து கொள்ளலாம். 10 ஆயிரத்திற்கும் மேல் எடுக்க முயன்றால் வங்கி கணக்கில் இணைக்கப்பட்டுள்ள மொபைல் எண்ணுக்கு ஓடிபி எனப்படும் ஒருமுறை கடவுசொல் வரும். அதை ஏடிஎம்மில் பதிவிட்டால் மட்டுமே பணம் பெற முடியும். 

இந்த செயல்பாட்டின் மூலம் வாடிக்கையாளருக்கு தெரியாமல் பணத்திருட்டு நடைபெறுவது குறையும் என எஸ்பிஐ நம்பிக்கை தெரிவித்துள்ளது. ஜனவரி முதல் அமலுக்கு வரும் இந்த புதிய நடைமுறை எஸ்பிஐ ஏடிஎம் மையங்களில் மட்டுமே செயல்பாட்டில் இருக்கும் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

OTP forced to withdraw money from ATMs

You can only get money if you post it at the ATM. SBI hopes that this process will reduce the amount of money the customer is unaware of. It is noteworthy that this new procedure, which will come into effect from January, will be in operation only at SBI ATMs.
