மதுரை மாவட்டத்தில் முன்னாள் முதல்வா் காமராஜா் விருது பெற்ற 4 பள்ளிகளுக்கு சிறப்பு பரிசுத்தொகை வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. தமிழக முன்னாள் முதல்வா் காமராஜரின் பிறந்த நாள் கல்வி வளா்ச்சி நாளாக அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

அன்றைய தினத்தில் அனைத்து பள்ளிகளிலும் கல்வி வளா்ச்சி நாள் விழா கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. மேலும் கல்வி வளா்ச்சி நாளை முன்னிட்டு மாவட்டங்களில் சிறப்பான செயல்பாடுகளை கொண்ட 4 பள்ளிகள் தோந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டு காமராஜா் விருது வழங்கப்படுகிறது.

இந்நிலையில் காமராஜா் விருது பெறும் தொடக்கப் பள்ளிக்கு ரூ. 25 ஆயிரம், நடுநிலைப்பள்ளிக்கு ரூ. 50 ஆயிரம், உயா்நிலைப்பள்ளிக்கு ரூ. 75 ஆயிரம், மேல்நிலைப்பள்ளிக்கு ரூ. 1 லட்சம் சிறப்பு பரிசுத்தொகையாக வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

பரிசுத்தொகை மூலம் பள்ளிகளில் உள்கட்டமைப்பு வசதிகளை ஏற்படுத்த வேண்டும் என்று அறிவுறுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளதாக கல்வித்துறை வட்டாரங்கள் தெரிவித்துள்ளன.
