தமிழகத்தில் 5, 8-ம் வகுப்புகளுக்கான பொதுத் தேர்வுக்கு மாதிரிவினாத்தாள் விரைவில் வெளியிடப்படும்'' என்று தேர்வுத் துறை தெரிவித்துள்ளது. இலவச கட்டாயக் கல்வி உரிமை சட்டத் திருத்தங்களின்படி 5, 8-ம் வகுப்புகளுக்கு, தமிழகத்தில் நடப்பு கல்வி ஆண்டு முதல் பொதுத்தேர்வு நடத்தப்படுகிறது. 

முதல் 3 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு மட்டும் மாணவர்கள் தேர்ச்சிநிறுத்தி வைக்கப்படாது என தமிழக அரசு கடந்த ஆகஸ்ட் மாதம் அறிவித்தது. அதன்படி 5, 8-ம் வகுப்புக்கு ஏப்ரலில் பொதுத்தேர்வு நடைபெற உள்ளது. அதேநேரம் பொதுத்தேர்வு அறிவிப்பு வெளியாகி, 5 மாதங்களாகியும் மாதிரி வினாத்தாள், வினா வடிவம் வெளியிடப்படவில்லை. 

இதனால் எப்படி பொதுத் தேர்வு எழுதுவது என்ற தவிப்பில் மாணவர்கள் உள்ளனர். இதுகுறித்து அரசுப் பள்ளி ஆசிரியர்கள் கூறியதாவது: தமிழகத்தில் 1 முதல் 8-ம் வகுப்புவரை முப்பருவக் கல்வி முறை அமலில்உள்ளது. ஒவ்வொரு பருவத்துக்கும் தனித்தனியே புத்தகங்கள் வழங்கப்பட்டு தேர்வுகள் நடத்தப்படுகின்றன. 

ஆனால், 5, 8-ம் வகுப்பு பொதுத்தேர்வு முப்பருவ பாடத்திட்ட அடிப்படையில் நடைபெற உள்ளது. இதனால் 3 பருவத்துக்குரிய புத்தகங்களையும் சேர்த்து படிக்க வேண்டும். இந்த வகுப்பு மாணவர்கள் முதல்முறையாக பொதுத்தோவு எழுதவுள்ளதால் அவர்கள் சற்று அச்சத்துடன் உள்ளனர். மறுபுறம் தேர்வுக்கான மாதிரி வினாத்தாள் இன்றும் வெளியாகவில்லை. 

பழைய முப்பருவத்தேர்வில் வினாத்தாள்கள் மாவட்டவாரியாக தயாரித்து வழங்கப்பட்டன. தற்போது பொதுத்தேர்வு வினாத்தாளை தேர்வுத் துறை வடிவமைத்துவழங்க உள்ளது. அதை முன்மாதிரியாக வைத்து மாணவர்களை தேர்வுக்கு தயார் செய்ய வேண்டும். 

பொதுத்தேர்வுக்கு முன்மாதிரியாக இருக்கும் என எதிர்பார்க்கப்பட்ட 2-ம் பருவத்தேர்வும் வழக்கமானதாக இருந்துவிட்டது. இன்னும் 2 மாதமே உள்ளதால், இளம் குழந்தைகளை பொதுத்தேர்வுக்கு தயார்படுத்துவது சிரமம். வினாத்தாள் கட்டமைப்பு தெரிந்தால் மட்டுமே அதற்கேற்ப மாணவா்களை தோவுக்கு தயார்படுத்த முடியும். 

அதனால் மாதிரி வினாத்தாளை உடனே அரசு வெளியிட வேண்டும். இவ்வாறு அரசு பள்ளி ஆசிரியர்கள் தெரிவித்தனர். இதுகுறித்து இடைநிலை பதிவுமூப்பு ஆசிரியர் சங்க பொதுச்செயலாளர் ஜே.ராபர்ட் கூறும்போது, ''பொதுத்தோவு வினாத்தாள் வடிவம் தெரியாததால் மாணவா்கள் மட்டுமின்றி ஆசிரியா்களும் தடுமாற வேண்டியுள்ளது. 

எனவே, தேர்வுத் துறை மாதிரிவினாத்தாளை உடனே வெளியிடுவதுடன், இந்த ஆண்டு மட்டும் பொதுத்தேர்வில் முதல்பருவ பாடங்களைத் தவிர்க்கலாம்'' என்றார். இதுதொடர்பாக தேர்வுத்துறை அதிகாரிகளிடம் கேட்டபோது, ''நடப்புகல்வி ஆண்டில் 5, 8-ம் வகுப்பு பொதுத்தேர்வை 17 லட்சம் மாணவர்கள் எழுதவுள்ளனர்.

ஈரோடு மாவட்டம் கோபியில் குழந்தைகளுக்கு போலியோ சொட்டு மருந்து வழங்கும் முகாமை பள்ளிக் கல்வித் துறை அமைச்சர் கே.ஏ.செங்கோட்டையன் நேற்று தொடங்கி வைத்தார். அப்போது அவர் செய்தியாளர்களிடம் கூறியதாவது: 

5 மற்றும் 8-ம் வகுப்புகளுக்கான பொதுத்தேர்வு, அந்தந்த பள்ளிகளில் நடைபெறாமல், வேறு மையங்களில் நடைபெற உள்ளதாக தவறான செய்தி பரவி வருகிறது. இதுதொடர்பாக எந்த உத்தரவும் பிறப்பிக்கவில்லை. ஜல்லிக்கட்டு குறித்து பாடப்புத்தகத்தில் சேர்ப்பதாக கூறவில்லை.
