நாடு முழுவதிலும் 5 லட்சம் காவலர் பணியிடங்கள் காலி நாடு முழுவதிலும் 5 லட்சம் காவலர் பணியிடங்கள் காலியாக இருப்பதாக அரசின் புள்ளிவிவரம் தெரிவிக்கிறது. 2019-ம் ஆண்டு கணக்கீட்டின் படி பணிபுரியும் மொத்த காவலர் கள் எண்ணிக்கையில் 9 சதவீதத் துக்கும் குறைவாகவே பெண்கள் உள்ளனர் என்பதும் தெரியவந் துள்ளது. 

 நாடுமுழுவதும் காவல் துறைக்கு அனுமதிக்கப்பட்ட போலீஸார் எண்ணிக்கை 25,95,435 ஆகும். ஆயினும் 20,67,270 பேர் மட்டுமே பணிபுரிகின்றனர். 5,28,165 இடங்கள் காலியாக உள்ளன. மத்திய உள்துறை அமைச்சகத் தின் கீழ் இயங்கும் காவல்துறை ஆராய்ச்சி மற்றும் மேம்பாட்டு பிரிவு (பிபிஆர்& டி)இந்த வரு டாந்திர புள்ளி விவரத்தை திரட்டி யுள்ளது. இந்த பிரிவின் இயக்குநர் வி.எஸ்.கே.கவுமுதி உள்ளிட்டோர் பங்கேற்ற நிகழ்ச்சியில் உள்துறை அமைச்சர் அமித் ஷா நேற்று 2019 ஜனவரி 1-ம் தேதி வரையிலான காவல்துறை அமைப்புகள் தொடர்பான புள்ளிவிவரத்தை வெளியிட்டார். பெண்கள் 9 சதவீதம் மட்டுமே காவல் படை பிரிவில் 1,85,696 பெண்கள் உள்ளனர்.அது மொத்த காவலர் எண்ணிக்கையில் 8.98 சதவீதமாகும். 2018-ல் 1,50,690 பேர் புதிதாக சேர்க்கப்பட்டனர். 

 மத்திய ஆயுத காவல் படையில் அனுமதிக்கப்பட்ட காவலர் எண் ணிக்கை ஜனவரி 1, 2019-ன்படி 10,98,779 ஆகும். ஆனால் உண்மை யில் பணிபுரிவோர் எண்ணிக்கை 9,99,918 ஆகும். ஒரு லட்சம் மக்கள் தொகைக்கு பணிபுரியும் போலீஸ் விகிதம் 158.22 என கணக்கிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

அதேபோல் 632.02 பேருக்கு ஒரு போலீஸ் இருப்பதும் புள்ளி விவரத்தில் தெரியவந்துள்ளது . நாடுமுழுவதிலும் 777 காவல் மாவட்டங்கள் உள்ளன.மொத்தம் அனுமதிக்கப்பட்ட காவல்நிலை யங்கள் எண்ணிக்கை 16,771 ஆகும் ஆனால் இருப்பதோ 16,587 ஆகும்.

according to government statistics. According to the 2019 census, women make up less than 9 percent of the total number of police guards employed. The total number of police admitted to the police force nationwide is 25,95,435. However, only 20,67,270 people are employed. 5,28,165 seats are vacant. The Police Research and Development Division (PPR & D), which is under the Union Home Ministry, has compiled this year's statistics. 

Home Minister Amit Shah released the statistics on police systems as of January 1, 2019 at a function attended by the Director of the unit, VSK Gowmudi. Only 9 per cent of women are in the police force at 1,85,696, which is 8.98 per cent of the total police force. In 2018, there were 1,50,690 new recruits. The number of guards allowed by the Federal Armed Forces as of January 1, 2019 is 10,98,779. 

But the number of people who actually work is 9,99,918. The police rate per million population is estimated at 158.22. The statistics also revealed that 632.02 people have a police force. There are 777 police districts across the country. The total sanctioned police force is 16,771 but there are 16,587.
