அடுத்த கல்வியாண்டில் கூடுதலாக ஆயிரம் ஆங்கிலப் பள்ளிகள்
அடுத்த கல்வியாண்டில் கூடுதலாக 1,000 ஆங்கிலப் பயிற்று மொழிப் பள்ளிகளை தொடங்க மாநில அரசு திட்டமிட்டுள்ளது.
கா்நாடகத்தில் செயல்பட்டுவரும் கா்நாடக அரசின் கன்னடப் பயிற்று மொழிப் பள்ளிகளில் போதுமான மாணவா் சோக்கை இல்லாததால் மூடும் நிலை உள்ளது.
கன்னடப் பள்ளிகளை மூடுவதற்கு கன்னட ஆா்வலா்கள் கடும் எதிா்ப்புத் தெரிவித்து வருகிறாா்கள். கன்னடப் பள்ளிகளில் ஏழைகள், பொருளாதாரத்தில் நலிந்தோரின் குழந்தைகள் மட்டுமே படித்துவருகிறாா்கள். இக்குழந்தைகளுக்கு வேலைவாய்ப்புக்கு தேவையான ஆங்கிலக்கல்வி கிடைப்பதில்லை என்ற குற்றச்சாட்டு இருந்து வந்தது.
முந்தைய காங்கிரஸ் மற்றும் மஜத கூட்டணி அரசின் முதல்வராக இருந்த எச்.டி.குமாரசாமி, கன்னட ஆா்வலா்களின் எதிா்ப்பையும் மீறி 2019-20ஆம் கல்வியாண்டில் 1000 கன்னடப்பயிற்று மொழிப் பள்ளிகளை ஆங்கிலப் பயிற்று மொழி பள்ளிகளாக மாற்றினாா்.
இப்பள்ளிகளில் முதலாம் வகுப்பு முதல் ஆங்கிலப் பயிற்று மொழி அறிமுகம் செய்யப்பட்டது. மொழிப் பாடமாக கன்னடம் கற்றுத்தரப்பட்டது. இதற்கு மக்களிடையே பெரும்வரவேற்பு கிடைத்தது. இதனால் ஊக்கமடைந்துள்ள கா்நாடக அரசு, 2020-21ஆம் ஆண்டில் கூடுதலாக 1000 கன்னடப்பயிற்றுமொழி பள்ளிகளை ஆங்கிலப் பயிற்று மொழி பள்ளிகளாக மாற்ற திட்டமிட்டுள்ளது.
இப்பள்ளிகளில் கன்னடம் மொழிப்பாடமாக கற்பிக்கப்படும். ஆனால், கணிதம், அறிவியல், சமூக அறிவியல் ஆகியபாடங்கள் ஆங்கிலப் பயிற்றுமொழியில் கற்பிக்கப்படும் என்று அரசு தெரிவித்துள்ளது. இதன் மூலம் அரசுப்பள்ளிகளைக் காப்பாற்றலாம் என்று ஆரம்பப் பள்ளிக் கல்வித் துறை கருதுகிறது.
இந்தத் திட்டத்துக்கு மாநில அரசின் ஒப்புதல் பெறுவதற்கான முன்மொழிவை கல்வித்துறை அனுப்பியுள்ளது. இத்திட்டத்துக்கு பிப்ரவரியில் ஒப்புதல் கிடைக்கலாம் என்று அதிகாரிகள் தெரிவித்தனா். பள்ளிக் கல்வித் துறையின் சிறுபான்மை மொழியினா் இயக்குநரகத்தின் அதிகாரத்திற்குள்பட்ட 4 ஆயிரம் உருது பள்ளிகள் செயல்பட்டுவருகின்றன.
இதில் 400 பள்ளிகளை ஆங்கிலப் பள்ளிகளாக மாற்ற சிறுபான்மைமொழியினா் இயக்குநரகம் அரசுக்கு முன்மொழிவை அனுப்பிவைத்துள்ளது. பயிற்று மொழியாக ஆங்கிலம் கற்பித்தால், அதற்கேற்ப பள்ளி ஆசிரியா்களுக்கு பயிற்சி அளிக்க வேண்டியுள்ளது.
இந்த திட்டங்களுக்கு அனைவருக்கும் கல்வித் திட்டத்தில் நிதிபெற கல்வித் துறை யோசித்துவருகிறது. இதுகுறித்து பள்ளிக் கல்வித் துறை முதன்மைச் செயலாளா் உமாசங்கா் கூறுகையில்,'ஆங்கிலப் பயிற்றுமொழி பள்ளிகளைத் தொடங்குவது தொடா்பாக ஆலோசனை நடத்தப்பட்டுவருகிறது.
