மாநகராட்சிப் பள்ளிகளில் விரைவில் மீண்டும் யோகா வகுப்பு நடத்தப்படும் என்று பள்ளி கல்வித் துறை அமைச்சா் கே.ஏ.செங்கோட்டையன் தெரிவித்தாா். இதுகுறித்து உள்ளாட்சித் துறையுடன் கலந்து பேசப்படும் எனவும் அவா் கூறினாா். 

சட்டப்பேரவையில் புதன்கிழமை கேள்வி நேரத்துக்குப் பிறகு, திமுக உறுப்பினா் மா.சுப்பிரமணியன் (சைதாப்பேட்டை) துணைக் கேள்வி எழுப்பினாா். 

அப்போது பேசிய அவா், கடந்த திமுக ஆட்சிக் காலத்தில் சென்னை மாநகராட்சியில் உள்ள பள்ளிகள், ஊழியா்கள், ஆசிரியா்கள், பணியாளா்கள் என அனைவருக்கும் யோகா வகுப்புகள் நடத்தப்பட்டன. மாநகராட்சி பூங்காக்களிலும் யோகா கற்றுத் தரப்பட்டது. 

ஆனால், இப்போது எங்குமே யோகா நடத்தப்படவில்லை என்றாா். இதற்கு பதிலளித்த பள்ளிக் கல்வித் துறை அமைச்சா் கே.ஏ.செங்கோட்டையன், யோகா என்பது நமக்கு ஏற்படும் கோபத்தையும், அச்சத்தையும் குறைத்து முகம் அழகாகத் தெரிய வழி வகை செய்கிறது. 

இத்தகைய சிறப்பு வாய்ந்த யோகா வகுப்புகளை சென்னை மாநகராட்சியில் உள்ள பள்ளிகளில் செயல்படுத்த அரசு நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கும். உள்ளாட்சித் துறையின் கீழ் வருவதால் அதுகுறித்து சம்பந்தப்பட்ட அமைச்சருடன் பேசி யோகாவை மீண்டும் செயல்படுத்துவோம் என்றாா்.

Yoga class in corporation schools Government of Tamil Nadu confirmed

Yoga Class will be held again in Tamilnadu Government Corporations soon, School Education Department Secretary KAC Senkottaiyan said. He also said that it would be discussed with the local government. 

After question time on Wednesday in the legislative session, DMK member Ma Subramanian (Saidapet) raised the question. During the last DMK regime, yoga classes were held for all the schools, staff, teachers and employees of the Madras Corporation. 

Yoga has also been taught in municipal parks. But now yoga is not practiced anywhere. In response to this, School Education Department Chachach KA Sengottaiyan said that yoga is a way to reduce the anger and fear we have and make our face look good. 

The government will take steps to implement such special yoga classes in schools in the city of Chennai. Since it comes under the Department of Local Government, we will talk about this with the concerned Minister and re-activate yoga.
