Will not be suspended for 3 years; Students and parents need not fear the 5th and 8th general elections
CHENNAI: Students and parents need not be afraid of the 5th and 8th general elections, the school commissioner said. In his statement, he said the exams are only conducted to test the learning ability of students across the state.
The school education commissioner said that teachers should be given extra training to improve their skills and advised them not to hold the exam for the first 3 years. Under the Compulsory Education Act, children under the age of 14 are given free education.
The Federal Government has amended the Act. Accordingly, the Tamil Nadu government has issued a state to hold general elections for students of grades 5 and 8. Parents expressed concern that children could not face the general election and that the fear-impaired environment would affect their learning ability.
Everyone needs to be educated. Students, parents and community activists have said that not only can students be affected but also mentally and physically.
