`தேசிய அளவிலான அரசு ஊழியர்கள் விளையாட்டுப் போட்டி!' - புனேவில் களமிறங்கும் சிவகங்கை பள்ளி ஆசிரியை

சிவகங்கை மாவட்டம் மானாமதுரையில் உள்ள அரசுப் பெண்கள் மேல்நிலைப் பள்ளியைச் சேர்ந்த ஆசிரியை கலைச் செல்வி, அரசு ஊழியர்களுக்கு இடையேயான விளையாட்டுப் போட்டியில் தேசிய அளவில் பங்கேற்க உள்ளார்.

இதனால் ஆசிரியை கலைச் செல்விக்கு சிவகங்கை மாவட்டத்தைச் சேர்ந்த விளையாட்டு ஆர்வலர்கள் வாழ்த்துகள் தெரிவித்து வருகின்றனர்.இறகுப் பந்து பயிற்சியின் போது இது குறித்து ஆசிரியை கலைச் செல்வி மகிழ்ச்சியாக நம்மிடம்...,

``எனக்கு சின்ன வயசில் இருந்து விளையாட்டின் மீது ஏகப்பட்ட பிரியம். `பெண்கள் விளையாடக் கூடாது சும்மா இரு' என்று சிலர் சொன்னாலும் விளையாட்டுக்கு வீட்டில் தடை போடல. அதனால் எல்லா விளையாட்டுகளும் நான் நல்லா விளையாடுவேன்.

தனியார் பள்ளியில் மாணவர்களை விட்டுப் பிரிய மனம் இல்லை. அப்பாவின் உத்தரவால் அரசுப் பள்ளிக்கு மாறிட்டேன். பின் அரசுப் பள்ளி மாணவர்களின் நிலை என்னை மாற்றிவிட்டது. மாணவர்களுக்கு விளையாட்டுக் கல்வியை கடமைக்கு கற்றுத் தராமல் சர்வீஸாகவும் இருக்க வேண்டும் என நினைத்தேன்.

தற்போதும் என் மனசுக்குப் பிடித்தபடி வேலை செய்கிறேன். என்னிடம் படித்த நிறைய மாணவர்கள் பெரிய இடத்தில் இருக்கின்றனர். அதுதான் எனக்குப் பெருமையான விஷயம். அரசுப் பள்ளிகள் எந்த அளவிலும் தனியார் பள்ளிக்குக் குறைந்ததில்லை.

இருக்கும் வசதிகளை வைத்து என் மாணவர்கள் பல இடங்களில் வெற்றி பெற்றுள்ளனர். மாநில அளவில் டேபிள் டென்னிஸ் போட்டியில் வெண்கலப் பதக்கம் வென்றார்கள். அது எனக்கு தற்போதும் நினைவில் வருகிறது.

தரம் குறைந்த பேட்டைப் பயன்படுத்தி மற்ற வீராங்கனைகளோடு என் மாணவிகள் வெற்றிபெற்றது ஏகப்பட்ட சந்தோஷத்தைத் தந்தது. அரசு ஊழியர்களுக்கு இடையேயான போட்டியில் நான் கலந்துகொள்கிறேன். 2018 தேசிய அளவில் இறகுப் பந்து போட்டியில் பங்கேற்க முடிந்தது.

2019-ல் சில காரணங்களால் பங்கேற்க முடியவில்லை.தற்போது இந்தாண்டு டேபிள் டென்னிஸ் போட்டியில் சென்னை நேரு ஸ்டேயத்தில் நடந்த போட்டிகளில் 6 நபர்கள் தேர்வாகியுள்ளோம்.
