திருப்பூர்: தமிழகத்திலேயே அதிக எண்ணிக்கையிலான மாணவ, மாணவியர் படிப்பதில் முதலிடம் பெற்ற திருப்பூர் மாநகராட்சி நடுநிலை பள்ளியில் சேர்க்கைகாக முன்பதிவு செய்து காத்திருக்கும் பெற்றோர்கள். 

தமிழக அளவிலான மாநகராட்சி நடுநிலைப் பள்ளிகளில் அதிக மாணவர் எண்ணிக்கையில் முதலிடம் என்ற பெருமையை பெற்றுள்ளது திருப்பூர், 15 வேலம்பாளையம் மாநகராட்சி நடுநிலைப்பள்ளி. 1919ம் ஆண்டு ஊர்மக்களின் ஒத்துழைப்புடன் இந்த பள்ளியானது துவங்கப்பட்டது. 

ஆசிரியரின் வீட்டுத் திண்ணையில் நடந்ததால் இதற்கு திண்ணைப்பள்ளி என்ற பெயரும் உள்ளது. ஒரு ஏக்கர் பரப்பளவில் 60 மாணவர்களுடன் துவங்கப்பட்ட இந்த பள்ளி, கடந்த 2002ம் ஆண்டு 400 மாணவர்களுடன் நடுநிலைப்பள்ளியாக தரம் உயர்த்தப்பட்டது. 

2005ம் ஆண்டு தலைமை ஆசிரியையாக பொறுப்பேற்ற ராதாமணி தலைமையிலான ஆசிரியர்கள் பள்ளி வளர்ச்சிக்காக கடும் பணியாற்றினர். 2015ம் ஆண்டு மாணவர்கள் எண்ணிக்கை 760 ஆக உயர்ந்த நிலையில் திருப்பூர் மாவட்டத்திலேயே 

இந்த பள்ளியில்தான் முதன்முதலாக ஆங்கிலவழிக் கல்வி அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்பட்டது. இதன் காரணமாக சுற்று வட்டாரத்திலுள்ள பத்துக்கும் மேற்பட்ட கிராமங்களில் இப்பள்ளி பெரும் வரவேற்பை பெற்றது. மேலும் மாணவர்களின் எண்ணிக்கையும் அதிகரிக்க தொடங்கியது. 

2015ம் ஆண்டு மாணவர்களின் எண்ணிக்கை ஆயிரத்தை தொட்டது. மேலும் 2019-20ம் கல்வி ஆண்டில் எல்கேஜி முதல் எட்டாம்வகுப்பு வரை முந்நூறுக்கும் மேற்பட்ட மாணவர்கள் புதிதாக இணைந்தனர். தற்போது இந்த பள்ளியில் 1300க்கும் மேற்பட்ட மாணவர்கள் படித்து வருகின்றனர். 

இதன்மூலம் தமிழகத்திலேயே மாநகராட்சி நடுநிலைப்பள்ளிகளில் அதிக மாணவர்கள் படிக்கும் பள்ளி என்ற முதலிடத்தை பெற்றுள்ளது. மேலும் பள்ளிக்கு பல்வேறு விருதுகளும் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

தனியார் பள்ளிகளுக்கு இணையாக ஓவியம், தையல் உள்ளிட்ட கூடுதல் பயிற்சிகளும் வழங்கப்படுகிறது. திருப்பூர் பனியன் நிறுவனங்களில் பெருமளவில் பணி புரியும் வடமாநில தொழிலாளர்களின் ஐம்பதிற்கும் குழந்தைகளுக்கு 

அவர்கள் தாய்மொழியான இந்தியில் பாடங்களை கற்று தருவது இப்பள்ளியின் கூடுதல் சிறப்பாகும். மேலும் இந்த பள்ளியில் படித்த மாணவர்கள் பலர் சிபிஐ, டாக்டர், என்ஜீனியர் என பல்வேறு துறைகளிலும், சிறந்த தொழிலதிபர்களாகவும் விளங்குகின்றனர் என்கின்றனர் பள்ளி ஆசிரியர்கள் மற்றும் பெற்றோர் ஆசிரியர் கழகத்தினர். 

இவற்றின் காரணமாக தனியார் பள்ளிகளிலிருந்தும் தங்களது குழந்தைகளை பெற்றோர்கள் இங்கு வந்து சேர்க்கின்றனர். மேலும் பள்ளி சேர்க்கைக்கான முன்பதிவும் நடந்து வருகிறது. மேலும் இப்பள்ளியின் நூற்றாண்டு விழா இம்மாத இறுதியில் நடைபெறவுள்ளது என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

The first English language education was introduced in this school in Tirupur district with the number of students rising to 760 in 2015. As a result, the school has received a warm reception in more than ten villages in the region. And the number of students began to increase. The number of students in 2015 touched one thousand. More than three hundred students are enrolled from the LKG to Eighth in the 2019-20 academic year. The school currently has over 1300 students. This makes Tamilnadu the first school in the state to have the largest number of students studying in corporation middle schools. The school has also been awarded various awards.

Additional tuition, including painting and sewing, is provided in parallel to private schools. Fifty-five children of Northern Territory workers who work in Tirupur Banyan institutions have the added advantage of teaching their mother tongue in Hindi. Many of the students who are educated in this school are CPI, Doctor, Engineer in various fields and are good businessmen. Due to this, parents are bringing their children from private schools. Also, preparations for school admission are ongoing. The school's centenary celebrations will be held later this month.
