லண்டனை சேர்ந்த வார்க்கே ஃபவுண்டேஷன் என்ற நிறுவனம் ஆண்டுதோறும் கவுரவித்து வரும் சிறந்த உலக அளவிலான சிறந்த ஆசிரியர்கள் பட்டியலில் இம்முறை ஒரு தமிழ் பெண் வெற்றிபெற வாய்ப்பு இருப்பதாக கூறப்படுகிறது. இந்நிறுவனம் கடந்த 2015 முதல் இந்த விருதினை அளித்து வருகிறது. இந்த விருதின் மதிப்பு 7 கோடி ரூபாய். இதற்காக தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டவர் இலங்கையை பூர்விகமாக கொண்ட யசோதை செல்வகுமாரன். இவர் குழந்தை பருவத்திலேயே ஆஸ்திரேலியா சென்றுவிட்டார். 

பள்ளிப் படிப்பு ஆஸ்திரேலிய கிராமங்களில் படித்தார். சிட்னி பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் வரலாறு பயின்றார்.தற்போது ரூட்டி ஹில் உயர்நிலைப் பள்ளியில் சமூக வரலாறு போதிக்கும் ஆசிரியை யசோதை. எல்லோருக்கும் கல்விகற்க உரிமை உண்டு என்று உரக்கச் சொல்லும் யசோதை, ஒடுக்கப்பட்ட இனக் குழந்தைகள் கல்வியில் மிகுந்த கவனம் செலுத்தி வருகிறார். 

இதற்காக 2014-ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கான கல்வி மற்றும் லீடர்ஷிப் செயல்பாடுகளுக்கான மேரி ஆம்ஸ்ட்ராங் விருது, 2017-ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கான ஆஸ்திரேலியன் எடுகேஷனல் ஃபெலோஷிப் விருது என இரண்டு முக்கியமான விருதுகளை பெற்றுள்ளார் இவர்.

Tamil Girl in World's Best Teacher Contest Accumulations and compliments !! 

The London-based Warkke Foundation is reportedly one of the world's top authors to be honored annually by a Tamil woman. The company has been presenting the award since 2015. The award is worth Rs 7 crore. The person selected for this was Yasodai Selvakumaran, a native of Sri Lanka. 

He left Australia as a child. He studied school in Australian villages. She studied history at the University of Sydney. She is currently teaching social history at Rudy Hill High School. 

Yasodi, who claims that everyone has the right to education, is very focused on the education of oppressed ethnic children. He is the recipient of two major awards, the 2014 Mary Armstrong Award for Education and Leadership Activities, and the Australian Educational Fellowship Award for 2017.
