உலகளவில் கட்டாயம் இந்தியாவிற்கு பெருமை சேர்ப்பேன்.. நாசா செல்லும் வாய்ப்பை பெற்ற பொறியியல் மாணவி.. 

காயத்ரி எனும் மாணவி திருச்சி அருகே உள்ள உறையூர் என்ற பகுதியை சேர்ந்தவர். இவர் திருச்சி, சமயபுரம் அருகே உள்ள கே.ராமகிருஷ்ணா பொறியியல் கல்லூரியில் ECE இறுதி ஆண்டு படித்து வருகிறார். 

சென்ற ஆண்டு ஆஸ்ட்ரோ நெட் மற்றும் கோ4குரு உள்ளிட்ட நிறுவனங்கள் நடத்தப்பட்ட திறன் தேர்வு கிரேட் அடிப்படையில் 2ஆம் இடத்தை பிடித்தார். இதன் மூலம் நாசா விண்வெளி ஆராய்ச்சி மையம் செல்லும் வாய்ப்பை பெற்றார். 

இவர்களின் குடும்பம் இருக்கும் சூழ்நிலையில் இவருக்கு நாசா செல்ல வசதிகள் இல்லாத சூழல் இருந்துள்ளது. இதனால் திருச்சி மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர் சிவராசு ரூ.75 ஆயிரம் நிதி உதவி அளித்துள்ளார்.

எனினும் மொத்தம் 2 லட்சம் தேவைப்படுவதால் முதல்வரிடம் தனிப்பிரிவில் உதவி கோரியுள்ளார். இதனையடுத்து நாசாவில் நடைபெறும் சர்வதேச அளவிலான விண்வெளி அறிவியல் தேர்வில் காயத்ரி கலந்துகொள்ளவிருக்கிறார். 

அதில் அவர் தேர்ச்சி பெற்றால் அமெரிக்காவின் புளோரிடா பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் விண்வெளி துறை சார்ந்த மேல் படிப்பை பயிலும் வாய்ப்பு கிடைக்கும் என்றும், அதற்கான முழு படிப்பு செலவையும் நாசாவே ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும் என்றும் காயத்ரி கூறியுள்ளார். 

மேலும் காயத்ரி கூறுகையில், அந்த தேர்வில் நிச்சயம் வெற்றி பெற்று உலக அளவில் இந்தியாவுக்கு பெருமை சேர்ப்பேன் என்றும் அவர் கூறியுள்ளார்.

However, since the total amount of Rs 2 lakh is needed, the chief has sought help in the private sector. Gayatri will be participating in NASA's International Space Science Examination. Gayatri said that if she mastered it, she would have the opportunity to study aerospace-based courses at the University of Florida in the US, and that NASA would accept the full cost of study. Gayatri also said that he will definitely win the exam and make India proud globally.
