வேலூர், மார்ச் 3: குழந்தைகள் எண்ணிக்கை குறைந்த அரசு ஆங்கிலவழிப்பள்ளிகளில் தமிழ் வழி வகுப்பாகவே தொடரலாம் என்று அரசு அறிவுறுத்தியுள்ளது. தமிழகத்தில் கட்டாய கல்வி உரிமைச்சட்டம் மற்றும் அரசு பள்ளிகளில் மாணவர் எண்ணிக்கையை அதிகரிக்கும் நோக்கம், 

கல்வித்தரம் அதிகரிப்பு போன்ற காரணங்களை கருத்தில் கொண்டு கடந்த 5 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பு அரசு தொடக்க, நடுநிலைப்பள்ளிகளில் ஆங்கில வழி வகுப்புகள் தொடங்க அரசு நடவடிக்கை மேற்கொண்டது. 

முதலில் பரீட்சார்த்தமாக மாவட்டத்துக்கு 3 முதல் 5 பள்ளிகள் வரை ஆங்கிலவழிப்பள்ளிகளாக அறிவிக்கப்பட்டு தொடங்கப்பட்டன. இதில் பொதுமக்கள் காட்டிய ஆர்வத்தை தொடர்ந்து படிப்படியாக எண்ணிக்கை அதிகரிக்கப்பட்டது. 

இதன் அடுத்தக்கட்டமாக அங்கன்வாடி மையங்கள் நர்சரி பள்ளிகளாக்கப்பட்டு அங்கு எல்கேஜி, யுகேஜி வகுப்புகளும் தொடங்கப்பட்டன. தற்போதைய நிலையில் மாநிலம் முழுவதும் 33 ஆயிரத்துக்கும் மேற்பட்ட அரசு தொடக்க, நடுநிலைப்பள்ளிகளில் ஆங்கிலவழிப்பிரிவுகள் தொடங்கப்பட்டன. 

அதேநேரத்தில் ஆங்கிலவழிப்பிரிவுக்கென தனியாக ஆசிரியர்கள், வகுப்பறைகள் உட்பட தனியான கட்டமைப்பு ஏற்படுத்தப்படவில்லை. இதனால் 70 சதவீத அரசு தொடக்க, நடுநிலைப்பள்ளிகளில் தமிழ், 

ஆங்கிலவழிப்பிரிவு மாணவர்கள் ஒரே வகுப்பில் ஒன்றாகவே அமர வைக்கப்பட்டு கல்வி கற்று வந்தனர். தமிழ், ஆங்கிலம் என இரண்டு பிரிவுக்கும் ஒரே ஆசிரியர் தமிழிலேயே பாடம் நடத்தும் நிலை உள்ளது. 

இதனால் அரசு தொடக்க, நடுநிலைப்பள்ளிகளில் தங்கள் பிள்ளைகளை ஆங்கில வழிக்கல்வியில் படிக்க ஆசைப்பட்டு அனுப்பி வைத்த பெற்றோர் மீண்டும் தங்கள் பிள்ளைகளை தனியார் பள்ளிகளில் சேர்க்கும் நிலைக்கு தள்ளப்பட்டனர். 

இதனால் அரசு பள்ளிகளில் ஆங்கிலவழிப்பிரிவில் படிக்கும் மாணவர்கள் எண்ணிக்கை கணிசமாக குறைந்துள்ளது. இது பெரும் நடைமுறை சிக்கலை உருவாக்கியது. இதுதொடர்பாக பல்வேறு மாவட்டங்களில் இருந்து அரசுக்கு பல்வேறு புகார்கள் வந்தன. 

அதேபோல் அந்தந்த மாவட்ட தொடக்கக்கல்வித்துறை அதிகாரிகளும் அரசுக்கு இதுதொடர்பாக தங்கள் அறிக்கையையும் சமர்ப்பித்து வந்தனர். இதையடுத்து மாணவர் எண்ணிக்கை குறைந்த 

ஆங்கிலவழிப்பிரிவு மாணவர்களை தமிழ்வழி பிரிவு மாணவர்களாகவே கருத வேண்டும் என்று அரசு வாய்மொழியாக அனைத்து மாவட்ட தொடக்கக்கல்வித்துறை அதிகாரிகளுக்கும் அறிவுறுத்தல் வழங்கியுள்ளது. 

 இதுதொடர்பாக தொடக்கப்பள்ளி ஆசிரியர்கள் தரப்பில் கேட்டபோது, 'ஆங்கில வழிப்பிரிவு என்றால் அதற்காக தனியாக ஆசிரியர்களை நியமிக்க வேண்டும். ஏற்கனவே அரசு தொடக்க, நடுநிலைப்பள்ளிகளில் பணி நிரவல் என்ற பெயரில் பணியிட குறைப்பு மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டது. 

இந்த நிலையில் ஒரு ஆசிரியரே ஒரு பள்ளியில் ஆங்கிலவழிப்பிரிவில் படிக்கும் மாணவர்களுக்கும், தமிழ்வழி பிரிவு மாணவர்களுக்கும் பாடம் நடத்த வேண்டிய நிலை உள்ளது. 

இதனால் மாணவர் எண்ணிக்கை ஆங்கிலவழிப்பிரிவில் அரசின் எதிர்பார்ப்புக்கு ஏற்ப இல்லாத நிலையில், தமிழ்வழிப்பிரிவாகவே தொடரும்படி அறிவுறுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது' என்றனர்.

Vellore, March 3 (IANS) The government has warned that the low number of children can continue as a Tamil medium in English schools. Considering factors such as compulsory education rights in Tamil Nadu and the aim of increasing the number of students in government schools, the government has taken steps to start English medium classes in government primary and middle schools five years ago. Initially, 3 to 5 schools in the district were declared as English schools.

The public interest in this was gradually increased. Subsequently Anganwadi centers were converted into nursery schools where LKG and UK classes were started. In its current state, more than 33 thousand government primary and middle schools have been started in English. At the same time, there is no separate structure for teachers of English, including classrooms. As a result, 70% of government elementary and middle schools have Tamil and English students in the same class and are educated. Both Tamil and English classes have the same teacher in Tamil.

Thus, parents who sent their children to government primary and middle schools to study in English were forced to re-enroll their children in private schools. This has significantly reduced the number of students studying in English schools in government schools. This created a huge practical problem. The government received various complaints from various districts. Similarly, the respective District Primary Education Officers also submitted their reports to the Government. Subsequently, the government has verbally instructed all District Primary Education Officers to treat the lower number of students in English as students of Tamil medium.

 When asked by the elementary school teachers about this, he said, 'If the English division is for that, you have to appoint teachers separately. Already the workforce reduction has been carried out in the name of job openings in government primary and middle schools. In this situation, a teacher has to take a lesson in the English language section of a school and the students of Tamilnadu section. As the number of students is not in line with the government's expectations in the English section, it has been advised to continue as a Tamil lecturer. ”
