கொரோனா தாக்கம் காரணமாக ஏர்டெல், ஜியோ, வோடபோன் உள்ளிட்ட நெட்வொர்க் சேவைகளின் இணைய வேகம் பாதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதன் காரணமாக இந்தியாவில் வாட்ஸ் ஆப் சேவை வசதிகளுள் ஒன்று குறைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. கொரோனா வைரஸ் தாக்கத்தால் வாட்ஸ்ஆப் சர்வர் வேகத்தைக் குறைக்க அதன் வசதிகளைத் தளத்தி வருகிறது.

இதன் ஒரு பகுதியாக வாட்ஸ் ஆப் ஸ்டேட்டஸில் வீடியோ பதிவை பதிவேற்ற கட்டுப்பாடு விதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. புதிய கட்டுப்பாட்டின்படி வாட்ஸ்ஆப்பில் 16 வினாடிகளுக்கு மேல் உள்ள வீடியோக்களை ஸ்டேட்டஸ் ஆக வைக்க முடியாது.

இவ்வாறு செய்வதன் மூலமாக சர்வர் திறன் மேம்படும் எனப்படுகிறது. ஏற்கனவே யூடியூப் தளம் அதன் ஹெச்.டி., தரத்தை குறைத்துவிட்டது. தற்போது இதனைத் தொடர்ந்து வாட்ஸ்ஆப் சேவை குறைக்கப்பட்டது வாடிக்கையாளர் மத்தியில் அதிருப்தியை உண்டாக்கி உள்ளது.

இதேபோல மைக்ரோசாப்ட், சோனி உள்ளிட்ட நிறுவனங்கள் சர்வர் ஓவர்லோட் ஆகாமல் இருக்க முக்கிய நேரங்களில் கேம் பதிவிறக்கம் செய்யும் வேகத்தை குறைக்கத் திட்டமிட்டுள்ளதாக அறிவித்துள்ளது.

Reduced WhatsApp (Facilities) Service by Corona Impact

The Internet speeds of network services including Airtel, Jio and Vodafone have been affected by Corona's impact. Due to this, one of the VATS services in India has been reduced. WhatsApp Server has been expanding its features to slow down corona virus attacks.

As part of this, the video recording is restricted to WhatsApp Status. According to the new restriction, videos over 16 seconds on WhatsApp cannot be kept as status.

Doing so is known to improve server efficiency. The YouTube site has already downgraded its HD content. Following this, the reduction of WhatsApp service has caused dissatisfaction among customers.

Similarly, Microsoft and Sony have announced that they are planning to slow down downloading the game at key times so that the server does not overload.
