செயற்கை விழித்திரை வாயிலாக கண்பார்வை... விஞ்ஞானிகள் தகவல்

அமெரிக்கா: விஞ்ஞானிகள் தகவல்... செயற்கை விழித்திரை மூலம் கண் பார்வை பெற முடியும் என்று விஞ்ஞானிகள் தகவல் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர். கண்களின் விழித்திரையில் ஒளி அடுக்குகள் பாதிக்கப்பட்டு கண் பார்வை இழப்பு ஏற்படுகிறது. சர்வதேச அளவில் ஆண்டு தோறும் லட்சக்கணக்கானவர்கள் இதேபோல பாதிக்கப்படுகின்றனர். 

இதை சரி செய்யும் ஆய்வில் அமெரிக்காவின் ஸ்டான்போர்டு பல்கலைக் கழகத்தை சேர்ந்த நிபுணர்கள் ஈடுபட்டிருந்தனர். தற்போது அவர்கள் செயற்கை விழித்திரையை உருவாக்கி அதன் மூலம் இழந்த கண் பார்வையை பெற முடியும் என கண்டுபிடித்துள்ளனர். 

செயற்கை விழித்திரையில் உள்ள மிக சிறிய மின் கடத்திகள் ஏற்கனவே இருக்கும் விழித்திரையில் இருக்கும் செல்களில் செயல்பாட்டை உருவாக்கி கண் பார்வை ஏற்பட செய்வதாக விஞ்ஞானிகள் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர்.

US: Scientists have been informed that the eye ... can be accessed by artificial retina. The retina of the eye is affected by light layers and causes loss of vision. Millions of people suffer annually internationally.

Experts from Stanford University in the US were involved in the study. At present they are developing artificial retina and thereby finding lost vision.

Scientists have said that the tiny electrical conductors in the artificial retina create activation in existing retinal cells and cause eye damage.
