`மழலைகள் விளைவித்த காய்கறித் தோட்டம்!' - சுவையான உணவு தயாரித்து நெகிழ்ந்த அரசுப் பள்ளி ஆசிரியர்கள்

மழலை விவசாயிகள் இயற்கை முறையில் பள்ளி வளாகத்தில் வெள்ளாமை செய்த சுரைக்காய், பச்சை மிளகாய் உள்ளிட்ட காய்கறிகளைப் பறித்து, அவர்களே சுவையான கூட்டு செய்து சாப்பிட்டதோடு, ஆசிரியர்களுக்கும் கொடுத்து மகிழ்ந்திருக்கிறார்கள்.கரூர் மாவட்டம், கிருஷ்ணராயபுரம் ஒன்றியத்தில் இருக்கிறது அய்யம்பாளையம். 

இந்தக் கிராமத்தில் இயங்கிவரும் ஊராட்சி ஒன்றியத் தொடக்கப்பள்ளியில் நூற்றுக்கும் மேற்பட்ட மாணவர்கள் கல்வி பயின்று வருகிறார்கள். `149 மாணவர்களுக்கு சுரை விதை; முதல் அறுவடையைச் செய்து பரிசு பெற்ற மாணவி' - அரசுப் பள்ளியில் அசத்தல்!

அதோடு, மாணவர்களுக்கு ஏட்டுக் கல்வியோடு நாட்டின் முதுகெலும்பாகக் கருதப்படும் விவசாயத்தின் மீதான அறிவையும் வழங்க வேண்டும் என்று நினைத்தார். அதன்காரணமாக, மழலை மாணவர்களை வைத்து, பள்ளி வளாகத்தில் இருக்கும் காலியான இடங்களில் கத்திரி, சுரைக்காய், பரங்கிக்காய், பச்சை மிளகாய், அவரை எனக் காய்கறிகளை மாணவர்களை வைத்தே பயிரிடச் செய்தார். 

செழித்து வளர்ந்த அந்தச் செடிகளில், காய்கறிகள் விளையத் தொடங்கியது. அந்தக் காய்கறிகளைக் கொண்டுதான், மாணவர்களுக்கு சத்தான மதிய உணவை வழங்கி வந்தார். இந்நிலையில், தேர்வு முடிந்து தற்போது பள்ளிகளுக்கு விடுமுறைவிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. ஆனால், அய்யம்பாளையம் ஊராட்சி ஒன்றியத் தொடக்கப் பள்ளி தலைமை ஆசிரியர் குமரவேல், பள்ளி வளாகத்தில் விளையும் காய்கறிகள் வீணாகப் போய்விடுமே என்று கவலைப்பட்டார்.

இதையடுத்து, உலக விவசாயிகள் தினத்தை முன்னிட்டு, பள்ளி காய்கறித் தோட்டத்தில் உள்ள சுரைக்காய்கள் மற்றும் பச்சை மிளகாய்களை மாணவர்களைக் கொண்டே அறுவடை செய்ய வைத்தார். பின்னர், அறுவடை செய்யப்பட்ட சுரைக்காய் மற்றும் மிளகாய்களைக் கொண்டு கூட்டு செய்து மாணவர்களுக்கு வழங்கப்பட்டது. 

பள்ளியின் தலைமை ஆசிரியர் குமரவேலுக்கும் இடைநிலை ஆசிரியர் மதுசூதனனுக்கும் சுரைக்காய் கூட்டை சாப்பிடக் கொடுத்து மாணவர்கள் நெகிழ வைத்திருக்கிறார்கள். பள்ளித் தலைமை ஆசிரியர் குமரவேலிடம் பேசினோம். அதனால், எங்கள் பள்ளி மாணவர்களுக்கு வெறும் ஏட்டுக் கல்வியை மட்டும் போதிக்காமல், இதுபோன்று இயற்கை முறையில் காய்கறித் தோட்டம் அமைக்க கற்றுக்கொடுத்தோம். அவர்களும் ஆர்வமாக இயற்கை உரமிடுதல், களைபறித்தல், தேவையான நேரத்தில் தண்ணீர் பாய்ச்சுதல், காய்கறிகளைப் பறித்து மதிய சத்துணவுக்கு வழங்குதல் என ஆர்வமாகச் செயல்பட்டாங்க. 

சில மாணவர்கள் அதீத ஆர்வமாகி, என்னிடம் விதைகள் வாங்கிகிட்டு போய் அவரவர் வீடுகளில் காய்கறித்தோட்டம் அமைத்து, வீட்டுப் பயன்பாட்டுக்குக் கொடுத்தார்கள்.இந்த நிலையில்தான், எங்கள் பள்ளி வளாக காய்கறித் தோட்டத்தில் காய்கறிகள் நிறைய காய்த்தன. இப்போது விடுமுறை என்பதால், அந்தக் காய்கறிகள் வீணாகும் நிலை உருவானது. 

அதனால், விவசாயிகள் தினத்தை முன்னிட்டு, மாணவர்களை அழைத்துப்போய் அந்தக் காய்கறிகளைப் பறிக்க வைத்து, அவர்களைக் கொண்டே கூட்டு தயாரிக்க வைத்து, எல்லோரும் சாப்பிட்டு மகிழ்ந்தோம். இயற்கை முறையில் விளைந்த சுரைக்காய் கூட்டு, அவ்வளவு ருசியா இருந்துச்சு. மாணவர்களுக்குவிடாமல் இயற்கையை போதிச்சுகிட்டே இருப்போம்" என்றார் மகிழ்ச்சியாக

But Kumaravel, headmaster of Ayyampalayam Panchayat Union Elementary School, was worried that the vegetables on the school premises would be wasted. After the World Farmers' Day, the students harvested the greens in the school vegetable garden with the students. Later, the students were given a joint with harvested zucchini and chillies. 

The students have the flexibility to feed the cucumber nest to the headmaster of the school Kumaravel and the interim teacher Madhusudhan. Some students were so excited that they bought seeds from me and planted vegetables in their homes and used them for home use.
