பார்வைத் திறன் குறைபாடு உடையவர்களுக்காக ரூபாய் நோட்டுகளை கண்டறியும் செயலி அறிமுகம்
பார்வைத் திறன் குறைபாடு உடையவர்கள் இந்திய ரூபாய் நோட்டுகளைக் கண்டறிய வசதியாக செயலி ஒன்றை ரிசர்வ் வங்கி அறிமுகம் செய்துள்ளது. மணி (மொபைல் எய்டட் நோட் ஐடென்டிபயர்) என்ற பெயரிலான இந்த செயலியை ஆர்பிஐ கவர்னர் சக்தி காந்த தாஸ் அறிமுகம் செய்தார்.
ஸ்மார்ட்போனில் இந்த செயலியை பதிவிறக்கம் செய்தபிறகு இதற்கு வை-பை இணையதள இணைப்பு தேவையில்லை.

எந்த பக்கத்தில் இருந்தாலும் இதில் ஸ்கேன் செய்தால் ரூபாய் நோட்டுகளின் மதிப்பை ஆங்கிலம் மற்றும் ஹிந்தியில் இந்த செயலி அறிவிக்கும்.
இந்திய ரூபாய் நோட்டுகளில் பல்வேறு சிறப்பம்சங்கள் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளன. அழியாத மை, டாக்டைல் மார்க், பல்வேறு அளவிலானது, பல்வேறு வண்ணம் உள்ளிட்டவை புதிய ரூபாய் நோட்டுகளின் சிறப்புகளாகும்.
இந்த சிறப்பு அம்சங்கள் நவீன முறையில் (செயலி) ரூபாய் நோட்டுகளை அடையாளம் காண உதவுவதாகவும், இதன் மூலம் பார்வைத் திறன் குறைபாடு உடையவர்களும் பயன் பெற முடியும் என்று ஆர்பிஐ தெரிவித்துள்ளது.
இந்த செயலியானது ஆண்ட்ராய்டு மற்றும் ஐ-ஓஎஸ் இயங்குதளங்களில் செயல்படக் கூடியது.
இந்த ரூபாய் நோட்டுகளின் மதிப்பை அறிவிக்கும் செயலி மூலம் கள்ள நோட்டுகளை கண்டுபிடிக்க முடியாது என்பது இதில் உள்ள பாதக அம்சமாகும்.
Introducing Banknotes Diagnostic Processor for Persons with Visual Impairment
The Reserve Bank of India has introduced a convenient processor to detect banknotes in India for the visually impaired. The processor, named as Mani (Mobile Aided Note Identifier), was introduced by RBI Governor Shakti Kantha Das.
After downloading this processor on a smartphone, it does not require a Wi-Fi Internet connection. This processor will announce the value of the banknotes in English and Hindi if you double-check all the notes in the Mahatma Gandhi Series and scan them on either side.
Indian banknotes have a variety of highlights. Including indelible ink, docktail mark, various sizes and different colors are the highlights of the new banknotes. The RBI said that these special features will help in identifying banknotes in a modern way so that people with visual impairments can benefit.
This processor can work on Android and I-OS platforms. The downside is that the counterfeit notes cannot be detected by the processor that announces the value of these banknotes.
