அரசுப் பள்ளிகளில் பயிலும் மாணவ, மாணவியர்களின் வருவாய் ஈட்டும் பெற்றோர் விபத்தில் உயிரிழந்தால் அந்த மாணவருக்கு நிதியுதவி வழங்கப்படும் என்று தமிழக அரசு அரசாணை வெளியிட்டுள்ளது.

அந்த மாணவ மாணவியரின் கல்விச் செலவுக்காகவும் அவர்களது பராமரிப்புக்காகப் பயன்படுத்தப்படும் என்றும் அரசாணையில் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. மேலும், இந்த நிதியுதவி வழங்கும் திட்டத்திற்காகத் தொடக்கக் கல்வி இயக்ககத்திற்கு ரூ. 2 கோடி மற்றும் பள்ளிக் கல்வி இயக்ககத்திற்கு 

ரூ. 2.70 கோடி ஆக மொத்தம் ரூ.4.70 கோடி நிதி ஒப்பளிப்பு செய்து தமிழ்நாடு மின்விசை நிதி மற்றும் அடிப்படை வசதி மேம்பாட்டு நிறுவனத்திற்குப் பெற்று வழங்கிடவும் அனுமதியை வழங்கி ஆணையிடப்பட்டுள்ளது' என்றும் அரசாணையில் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.
