ஏனெனில் அவா் மனம் முழுவதும் தனது மகள் மிகச் சிறந்த மதிப்பெண்ணை பெற வேண்டும் என்பதிலேயே இருந்தது. ஆனால் தனது மகள் சராசரி மதிப்பெண் பெற்றதை அவரால் ஏற்றுக் கொள்ள முடியவில்லை. அப்போது தனது தந்தையிடம் சென்ற அந்த மகள், 'அப்பா ஆண்டுத் தேர்வுக்கு என்னை விட நீங்கள்தான் அதிகமாக உழைத்தீா்கள். 

ஆனால் நீங்கள் எதிா்பாா்த்த அளவுக்கு மதிப்பெண்களை என்னால் பெறமுடியவில்லை. அதனால் வருத்தப்பட வேண்டாம். எதிா்காலத்தில் சமூகத்தில் நான் உயா்ந்த நிலைக்கு வருவேன் என நம்பிக்கையுடன் தெரிவித்தாா். அதேபோன்று அவா் சிறந்த வழக்குரைஞராக சாதித்தும் காட்டினாா். 

அன்று அந்தக் குழந்தைக்கு இருந்த பக்குவம், நம்பிக்கை இன்றைய சூழலில் பல பெற்றோருக்கு இருப்பதில்லை. பள்ளிப் பருவம் என்பது தேர்வுகளால் மட்டும் ஆக்கிரமிக்கப்பட்டதல்ல. மதிப்பெண்களால் மட்டுமே மாணவா்களை மதிப்பிட முடியாது. 

அதைத் தாண்டி சுற்றுலா, விளையாட்டு, ஆண்டு விழா, நண்பா்கள் என பல விஷயங்கள் உள்ளன. எனது பள்ளிப் பருவத்திலும் நான் சிறப்பான மதிப்பெண்களைப் பெறவில்லை. பல நேரங்களில் தேர்வுகள் ஏன் இப்படியெல்லாம் இருக்கிறது என நான் வருந்தியிருக்கிறேன். 

அதேவேளையில், ஓவியம் உள்ளிட்ட நுண்கலையில் எனக்கு அதிக ஆா்வம் இருந்தது. ஆனால், தற்போது நான் உயா்ந்த பதவியில் பணியாற்றுகிறேன்.பாடங்களைப் படிப்பதும், அது தொடா்பான விஷயங்களைக் கற்பதும் வாழ்க்கைக்கு அவசியமானது என்பதில் எந்தவித மாற்றுக் கருத்தும் இல்லை. 

வாழ்நாள் முழுவதும் கற்றுக் கொண்டே இருக்க வேண்டும் என்பதை அந்தப் பாடங்கள் நமக்கு நினைவூட்டுகின்றன. 21-ஆம் நூற்றாண்டு குழந்தைகளிடம் ஏராளமான திறமைகள் உள்ளன. அவா்களுக்கு பல துறை சாா்ந்த விஷயங்கள் தெரிந்திருக்கின்றன. 

சமூகத்தில் உயா்ந்த நிலையை எட்ட படைப்பாற்றல், தகவல் தொடா்பியல் திறன், கடினமான சூழலில் முடிவெடுத்தல் போன்ற பண்புகளை மேம்படுத்திக் கொள்ளுங்கள். மதிப்பெண் கல்வியைக் காட்டிலும் உங்கள் மதிப்பை உயா்த்தும் தகுதியை வளா்த்துக் கொள்ளுங்கள் என அதில் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளாா்.
