Will the interim ban on the loudspeaker be taken away for the benefit of the general election students? Expectations of parents, teachers and educators
in West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, have called for an interim ban on the loudspeaker for the benefit of students who are writing the general exam. The General Examination for Plus Two Class in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry will commence on March 2 and the General Examination for Plus One Class will commence on March 4. 17 lakh students write this exam.
Public exam for class 10 is scheduled to begin on March 27. Meanwhile, there is also a general exam for central educational institutions like CBSE in Tamil Nadu. Although conical-shaped loudspeakers are already in place in Tamil Nadu, it has not been systematically adopted. At this time, teachers and parents have demanded that the ban be properly followed, even in the time when students are writing the general exam.
Meanwhile, the use of loudspeakers has been banned in West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh for the benefit of the students who are writing public exams. Following these conditions, parents and teachers expect the interim ban on the use of loudspeakers at private parties, such as places of worship, festivals, weddings and political parties, despite public choice. Says Saiyanathan, a Government Hospital doctor in Rayapet, “Naturally the human ear can hear 20 to 20,000 sound frequencies (Hz). There is a change in the frequency of sound according to age and individual hearing. Accordingly, people between the ages of 12 and 28 years of age are more likely to have hearing impairments.
Thus, they can sense even the slightest noise. The frequency of the subwoofer varies depending on the distance and the speed of the wind. In the early morning, afternoon and night, the sound of a 3km loudspeaker can be heard by 15- to 25-year-olds. Then, students who are studying in a quiet place can certainly be distracted. Humans can sense sounds that are below 20 Hz in a quiet room. That is, if the noise is 80 decibels at 500 meters, students cannot read the book.
” State President of the Parents Student Welfare Association, Arumanathan said, "There is a loudspeaker noise to distract the students who are preparing for the exam. There are boundaries to use the loudspeaker in the areas surrounding the selection centers where the public exams take place. But until the selection is made, the general ban on subwoofer usage should be enforced. The loudspeaker is used in places of worship in the countryside from 5 am. Early in the morning, students will study more.
At that time, loudspeaker sounds are not read by students. So, before the government can ban the use of the loudspeaker until it can be selected, the public must unanimously decide to come forward. We must come forward to use the loudspeaker for our children's future until they can choose. Thus he said.
