கூகுளின் புதிய அறிமுகம் "ப்ரெய்லி கீபோர்டு" 

பார்வையற்றோர் பயன்படுத்தும் பிரெய்லி (Braille) முறையை மொபைல்களுக்குத் தற்போது எடுத்து வந்திருக்கிறது கூகுள். பார்வையற்றோர் மொபைலில் தட்டச்சு செய்ய இதற்கு முன் தனிப்பட்ட எந்தவொரு வசதியும் இல்லை. ப்ரெய்லி கீபோர்டு என ஒரு சில நிறுவனங்களின் செயலிகள் பல கூகுள் ப்ளே ஸ்டோரில் இருந்தன. 

  நம்பகமான நிறுவனத்திலிருந்து அனைத்துச் செயலிகளிலும் உபயோகிக்கும் வகையில் எந்தச் செயலியும் இல்லை. தற்போது அந்தக் குறையைப் போக்கியுள்ளது கூகுள். ப்ரெய்லி முறையின் அடிப்படை ஆறு புள்ளிகள்தான். அந்த ஆறு புள்ளிகளை விதவிதமான சேர்க்கையில் சேர்ப்பதன் மூலம் எழுத்துகளையும் எண்களையும் நாம் அறிந்து கொள்ள முடியும். இதே போன்று ப்ரெய்லி கீபோர்டில் இருக்கும் ஆறு விசைகள் ப்ரெய்லியின் ஆறு புள்ளிகளை வைத்து உருவாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதன்மூலம் பார்வையற்றோர்களும் நேரடியாக மொபைலில் தட்டச்சு செய்யலாம் என கூகுள் அதன் வலைதளத்தில் தெரிவித்துள்ளது. இந்த வசதியைப் பயன்படுத்த கூகுளின் Talkback சேவை எப்போதும் பயன்படுத்தும் வகையில் On-லேயே இருக்க வேண்டும். Talkback சேவை குறிப்பாகப் பார்வைற்றோருக்காக உருவாக்கப்பட்டது என்பதால் திரையில் தோன்றும் அனைத்தையும் அந்தச் சேவை கண்காணிக்கும். 

  ஏனெனில் திரையில் தோன்றும் அனைத்தையும் பயன்படுத்துபவருக்கு வாசித்துக்காட்ட வேண்டிய தேவை இருக்கும். பரெய்லி கீபோர்டு வசதியானது ஆண்ட்ராய்டு 5.0 மற்றும் அதற்கு மேலுள்ள இயங்குதளங்களுக்குப் பயன்பாட்டிற்கு வரும் எனத் தெரிவித்திருக்கிறது கூகுள். 

  இந்த வசதியைப்பெற கூகுளின் Talkback சேவையை ஆன் செய்து, பின்னர் அதன் வழிகாட்டுதலின்படி சென்று ஆக்டிவேட் செய்யலாம் என நிறுவனத்தின் சார்பில் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

Google's new launch "Braille Keyboard" 

Google has just taken over the Braille system used by the blind. Previously there was no unique feature for the blind to type on mobile. Many of the processors of a few companies, such as the Braille Keyboard, were in the Google Play Store.

  There is no processor to use on all processors from a trusted company. Google has now made the mistake. The basis of the Braille method is six points. We can know the letters and numbers by adding those six points in some sort of combination. Similarly, the six keys on the Braille keyboard are made up of Braille's six points. 

Google said on its website that viewers can also type directly in mobile. Google's Talkback service is always on-line to use this feature. Since the Talkback service is specifically designed for viewers, that service monitors everything that appears on the screen.

  This is because the user will need to read everything that appears on the screen. Google has reported that the Bareilly Keyboard Comfort will be available for use on Android 5.0 and above.

  The company has been told to turn on Google's Talkback service to enable this feature and then activate it according to its guidelines.
