'கேலோ இந்தியா' போட்டிகளுக்காக சென்னை வந்த வெளிமாநில போட்டியாளர்களுக்கு வரவேற்பு 

சென்னை, 6-வது கேலோ இந்தியா இளைஞர் விளையாட்டுப் போட்டி (18 வயதுக்குட்பட்டோர்) முதல்முறையாக தென்இந்தியாவில் தமிழகத்தில் நடத்தப்படுகிறது.

 சென்னை, கோவை, திருச்சி, மதுரை ஆகிய நகரங்களில் இன்று முதல் 31-ந்தேதி வரை நடைபெறும் இந்த போட்டியில் தடகளம், கால்பந்து, கபடி, கைப்பந்து, துப்பாக்கி சுடுதல், டேபிள் டென்னிஸ், வில்வித்தை, பேட்மிண்டன், நீச்சல், கூடைப்பந்து, குத்துச்சண்டை, ஸ்குவாஷ், யோகாசனம் உள்பட 26 பந்தயங்கள் இடம்பெறுகின்றன.இவற்றில் பெரும்பாலான போட்டிகள் சென்னையிலேயே நடத்தப்படுகின்றன. 

'கேலோ இந்தியா' இளைஞர் விளையாட்டுப் போட்டியின் பிரமாண்டமான தொடக்க விழா சென்னை நேரு ஸ்டேடியத்தில் இன்று மாலை 6 மணிக்கு நடைபெறுகிறது. இந்நிலையில் 'கேலோ இந்தியா' போட்டிகளில் கலந்து கொள்வதற்காக பல்வேறு மாநிலங்களில் இருந்து வீரர், வீராங்கனைகள் சென்னை வந்தனர். 

அவர்களுக்கு தமிழ்நாடு விளையாட்டு மேம்பாட்டு ஆணையம் சார்பாக மலர் கொடுத்து வரவேற்பு அளிக்கப்பட்டது.

Welcome to the foreign contestants who came to Chennai for 'Gelo India' competitions

Chennai, The 6th Gallo India Youth Games (Under 18) is being held in Tamil Nadu for the first time in South India.

  26 events including athletics, football, kabaddi, volleyball, shooting, table tennis, archery, badminton, swimming, basketball, boxing, squash, yoga will be held in the cities of Chennai, Coimbatore, Trichy and Madurai from today to the 31st. Most of these tournaments are held in Chennai.

The grand opening ceremony of the 'Gelo India' Youth Games will be held at the Nehru Stadium in Chennai today at 6 pm. In this case, players from various states came to Chennai to participate in 'Gelo India' matches.

They were felicitated with flowers on behalf of the Tamil Nadu Sports Development Authority.
